The name Mzoe 7 is fast becoming a household name. You've probably seen his name on posters, seen his videos online, or better yet, seen his electrifying performances live. This young musician is a rising star with two ZIMA (Zimbabwe Music Awards) nominations under his belt. This article will highlight his upcoming EP and shed some light on the artist.
Mzoe 7
Born 6 March 1991, Mzobanzi Paul Mlauzi goes by his stage name Mzoe 7 (and his alter ego Mr Gagagugu). He is a Hip Hop& Afrobeat artist/songwriter/actor...basically a well rounded and talented performer.

His latest offering is an EP titled Mooguvillage. The five-track compilation narrates stories of hard work, love, determination and appreciation. "Dolabag" is a song dedicated to empowerment of the streetwise hustler - anyone and everyone who is hustling, making ends meet. The very upbeat "Cellfee/Sellfee" is a song about mobile networks celebrating high profits, juxtaposed by the wordplay on 'selfie' which is a social media trend. Track 5, Another Day is an expression of gratitude to God and the people who have supported him throughout his musical journey. Without letting too much out of the bag, the Mooguvillage EP is an artistic fusion of hip-hop and Afrobeat that is enjoyable and will get listeners on their feet, dancing.

On his plans for 2016, Mzoe 7 had this to say, "I hope to win an award for my song I Cry Too, which is nominated for Best Single in the Zimbabwe Music Awards. Furthermore, I look forward to collaborating with both local and international artists; expanding my creativity and work to other parts of the continent and putting Zimbabwe on the map."

Mooguvillage will be released on the 27th January 2016 and will be sold at the affordable price of $3. Make sure you get a copy!
