SpekkTrumn’s Wavaona has finally been Officially released as a single and is available for download from iTunes and all major digital outlets.
Wavaona originally appeared on SpekkTrumn’s 2014 EP titled Le Lux
Opal Royale, which he released on his birthday as a thank you to everyone who
has been supporting him on his musical journey and also as a celebration for
graduating with a BTech Computer Science degree the day after. Due to the
increasing popularity and positive feedback about the track among Zim Hip-Hop
listeners he chose to officially release it as a single.
The track features 2 2015
Zim Hip-Hop award winners Ti Gonzi and Navy Seal (of Art Department). Production
was handled by upcoming producer 4uxion Beatz, An official remix featuring
yet-to-be confirmed is on the way, as well as a long-form video.
After taking a musical
hiatus to focus on other commitments, Wavaona sees the return of SpekkTrumn as
he plans to return to a passion that he has had since he was 8. Now known more
for promoting Zim Hip-Hop through his Whatsapp broadcast list and through his Support Zim Hip-Hop Blog, he
states that he still can hold his own in front of the mic. Whether or not a
full-length project is in works is still under wraps.
